Dear friends,
I know that Christmas has only just finished and we’re still basking in the joys of epiphany but… it’s probably time to start thinking about Lent and more specifically Lent courses!
If this has given you palpitations/anxious sweats FEAR NOT! I tell you this not to make you stressed but as a way of introducing you to a lent course which I have written, which you are very welcome to make use of.

Psalm By the rivers of Babylon from Chludov Psalter
I have called this lent course ‘As Told by the Psalms’ - a fitting title, because it aims to help groups to read the overarching narrative of the Old Testament (beginning with creation and finishing with exile) through the lens of the Psalms.
There are 5-6 sessions which each have 1 Psalm, a reading from the New Testament and a set of discussion questions.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, you simply need to click on the button below to get to the resources and download them:
You’ll find a plan for each of the sessions with the discussion questions, as well as some preparation notes if you need a refresher on the Psalms in general. This will also be helpful for other people leading the sessions to have sight of.
If you use it, I might ask you for some feedback - but that is all.
Blessings on your lenten planning!
Christie
